| Design "Seeking for sounds leads
to creating the great shapes" This is the basic concept of Caparison
Design. Design means not only drawings, but also planning the wood selection,
finish, choice of pick up, and all other ancillary components. The most
significant features of our guitars are tuning stability and sound reliability.
In addition, the colors and fingerboard inlays are very important elements
in order to inspire the guitarists. Production All our guitars that are assembled in mass production are also made on the same production line as the endorsement instruments. The endorsement guitars are tailored to the particular customer requests at the end of the production. Simply put, the qualities of the instruments are all the same. The designers who take charge of the graphics for endorsement guitars are responsible for the treatment of colors and graphics for all the models. Upon shipment, all the guitars are strictly inspected and finally adjusted by our expert designers and craftsmen. Finish Shifting even lower range with 2007 models! Now the transparent color is introduced with the Caparison's original "FD Finish" which was developed to create rich mid-low range sounds. It is called "Pro.Trans. Color", stands for Progressive Transparent Color. Many of the 2007 models have this finish and are shifted to lower range sound. The finish is as thin as possible for better quality of tone. FD Finish: This is CaparisonÕs original finish which helps make our distinctive and renowned mid-low range tonal characteristics possible. Such graphic colors as TAT Model and Horus Model, we consider to be the best finish and color coatings best suited to the sonic virtues and themes of each model. Wiring: Since 2006 all the models are upgraded as professional specification. High quality wiring materials are used to sustain the same high quality as the professional guitars. In addition, the normal volume/tone pots are CTS products to improve the reliability (except pots with switches). *Lead-free-solder is used for soldering up wires to adjust to Europe RoHS standards. Fingerboard R Fingerboard R is curved 350 R around nut to 400 R at the end section of the fingerboard that helps for smoother left-hand movements and encourage a lower action possible for chordal and lead work. (Except Dellinger-Bass) Neck grip of Devil's Tail Head For left hand playing, especially thumb picking styles, the side of Fingerboard is shaped to suit smooth movements. The same is true for the rear side of the Neck. The Neck grip which is flat shape around the nut is being curved gradually as towards to the body. The neck is thick as necessary rather than thin neck. Pickup "Caparison Guitars designs their own pickup which is a feature of all Caparison Guitars" Our Pickups are one of the principal components responsible for creating a wealth of sounds for any of our electric guitars. Each Pickup is tested repeatedly in simulations with different amps, environments and recording settings to develop a specific character for the each model. (Except Dellinger Bass Pickups) HGS (Heavy Gauge Strings) The model itself has the heavy gauge strings for tuning down, which is a popular requirement in the Death Metal music scene, for example. The bridge position is mounted 3mm further along than regularly seen on other guitars; this is to help when adjusting heavy gauge strings to an octave deeper in pitch. In addition, the pickup position is changed as the bridge moved. This means that players, never again need to change their playing technique because the neck length is always the same. |
