TAT Special




TAT Special...Amber, Trans.Black

The fundamental plan for this guitar has been begun since 1995.
Back then, the sample model of 24-fret was used to conduct tests.
New constructions of this guitar was designed to evolve the TAT model, such as the Flame MapleTop/Mahogany back material for both sides of its body and the shape of this model is designed asymmetrically.
It was challenging to manufacture this sample model with Flame Maple for not only the looks of the material but also the body material for the through neck.
The existing PH-R pickups mounted on the various models were designed as the pickup with an intention of mounting on this model.
Now that 2009 model is completed with Maple/Walnut 5 pieces, therefore keeps the strength and the total balance on the neck.
In addition, the body was refined again from 27-fret based on the characteristic of asymmetric body shape and our experience with Orbit model.
It has Oiled Finish on the neck, which is not common for the normal through neck.
Rotary Switch Mode is mounted which is allows you to choose the various combinations of the pickup.

Rotary Switch Mode
The wide range of sound variation when made in the rotary switch mode.
3 Way Lever Switch becomes rotary switch mode when used in the middle position
that can also generate a variety of sounds from 4 Way Rotary Switch selection.
